“Gauthier and Amedee is nationally recognized
for their professionalism in the pursuit of justice and their undying
empathy and love for their clients."

Gauthier & Amedee's courtroom victories have garnered national attention. The American Association for Justice has recognized them in an unprecedented way.  In fact, the *AAJ has spotlighted Gauthier & Amedee three (3) times.

Why has the AAJ focused on G & A?

The answer is simple:  No other law firm in the State of Louisiana has ever achieved this accomplishment.

Andre Gauthier says "Gauthier & Amedee fights for those who have a reason to fight, and we fight hard!"

* The AAJ is the largest trial bar in the world, having an international membership of more than 56,000 lawyers. Each month the AAJ publishes the Law Reporter and  selects to spotlight only one case out of the thousands of cases tried across America every month. Louisiana action lawyers, Gauthier & Amedee, have been selected and spotlighted three times for their jury trial results.   Gauthier & Amedee is the only law firm in the State of Louisiana to achieve this unprecedented accomplishment.

What happens to a young boy born in Gonzales, Louisiana, raising and showing 4-H animals? He grows up to be an all-district fist team baseball player who earnes a baseball scholarship to Nicholls State. He grows up to coach boys baseball for 15 years while pursuing a juris doctorate at Southern University Law Center. He grows up to become a dedicated, consistent and committed attorney, husband and father. He grows up to be Action Lawyer Jody Amedee.

Jody used his love for helping people as a motivation to run for the Louisiana Senate in 2003. Winning Senate seat 18, he was sworn in as the state’s third youngest Senator, at the age of 36. He was re-elected in 2007 without opposition.

Amedee remains a strong voice in the Senate
for working families and small business owners.

He is still an active supporter of 4-H, Ascension parish baseball and justice for Louisianans. Amedee will take a client’s case to the Louisiana Supreme Court if justice is not served. In fact, in 2004, he successfully argued a case on behalf of the Louisiana Senate before the Louisiana Supreme Court.

He is married to Jancy Berthelot Amedee and has three children.
